1. The same as the other translations. I'm thinking it's 66 OT, 27 NT.

2. Esther

3. Philemon is one. I think there is one or two more in the OT but would have to look.

4. "Jesus wept". I have a friend who says that this is the only scripture her husband can quote so I made him a framed scripture with this verse for Christmas.

5. The Pharisees.

6. Divide and Conquer. ... The end - the Beginning. ... Jesus wins ... Heaven or Hell ...

11. B.

Fyi, in case #1 is a trick question...the original King James Translation contained the 14 books of the 'Apocrypha'.

The average christian doesn't even know what that is.

OH...it just came to me. I have forgotten so much. I've known that since early 1980s

TULIP

Total Depravity
Unconditional Election
Limited Atonement
Irresistable Grace
Perserverance of the Saints

.again, your average christian follower doesn't have a clue

Kurt,

1. Could you be more specific. Technically there is only one book within the pages of the KJV of the Bible and that is the Bible. Now if you are referring to the books of the Old Testament and New Testament, that would be 2. If you are referring to how many in the KJV total it would be 66. However back in 1611 there were some additional books contained in teh Apocrypha which are less credible writings but the addition of those 14 books would make the grand total of 80. Thus, you can see the need for specific.

2. It would be Esther and Song of Solomon.

3. There would be 4, Philemon, 2nd John, 3rd John and Jude.

4. The shortest verse in the Bible is "Jesus wept." John 11:35.

5. The Jewish Leaders or Chief priests, depending on which version you are reading.

6. Alpha and Omega

7. Barry Bonds at 762 which was held by Hank Aaron until he surpassed him in 2007.

8. Molten rock in the ground is called Magma, extruded onto the surface it is called Lava. If it is blown out of a volcano, it is called Pyroclastic Debris.

9. Under ground Lava is called Magma.

10. This is referring to the story of the of the plane crashed that killed Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. "Big Bopper" Richardson and also the pilot Roger Richardson. But I know you were referring only to the reference regarding musicians. They were 3 of Rock and Roll's most promising performers that died that day and it was Don McLean who wrote about it in his classic music parable, American Pie, which declared, "The day the music died."

11. It varies from the official pronunciation from the city which is Loouhvull but the residents say it as Looavull, Looaville and Luhvull are common as well. To pronounce it like it is written makes you an outside.

12.
T - Total Depravity
U - Unconditional Election
L - Limited Atonement
I - Irresistible Grace
P - Preservation of the Saints.

I think that about covers it barring specifics. This was fun!
